Can I login to my account when I'm abroad?

Answer:

Yes. However, please note that if you recently upgraded your Online Banking security details, you will only be able to login to Online Banking if we have your mobile number and it is a UK mobile number. This is because we use your mobile number as a security measure if you login from a computer we don't recognise.  If you're abroad and using a UK mobile number there may be a delay while your network provider passes the text to the foreign provider.

We are unable to send texts to non-UK mobile numbers.

You can update your mobile number in Online Banking or alternatively call us on 0845 300 4278.
