Why am I asked to choose an image and phrase?

When you register for Online Banking or upgrade your existing security details, you’ll be asked to choose an image and phrase that you'll recognise. Your chosen image and phrase will be displayed every time you login, so you’ll know you’re on the real Tesco Bank website. When you login, if your image and phrase is not displayed, you shouldn’t enter any of your security details and you should contact us straight away.
