Can I change my Direct Debit details once the payment has been set up?
Answer:
Yes you can.
If you simply wish to change the date of your Direct Debit payment (but your bank account details will remain the same):
Please contact us on 0845 600 6016 at least 5 business days prior to your next scheduled payment date (Please Note: we are unable to make any changes to your Direct Debit details in the period 3 business days before and 3 business days after your next scheduled Direct Debit payment date).
If you wish to change the bank account from which your Direct Debit is paid:
Please contact us on 0845 600 6016 at least 14 business days prior to your next scheduled payment date (Please Note: we are unable to make a change to your Direct Debit details in the period 3 business days before and 3 business days after your next scheduled Direct Debit payment date). When you call we will post you out a new Direct Debit mandate and talk you through the process to make sure that you have enough time to make the change prior to your next scheduled payment date - that way you won’t accidently miss a payment.
Once we receive the completed Direct Debit mandate from you, we will send it to your bank for them to make the change. We will cancel your old Direct Debit with us, but you will need to check with your bank and ensure that the new Direct Debit mandate has been set up correctly to ensure that you avoid missing a payment. Or pay twice in once month.
Please Note: In order to action your request we will need to receive the completed Direct Debit mandate at least 5 business days before your next scheduled Direct Debit payment date.
