I've booked a holiday in 6 months time, can I buy my travel insurance policy now?

If you are buying a single trip policy online or over the phone, you can buy this up to 12 months in advance of your trip. For single trip policies, cover for cancellation is provided as soon as you have paid for your policy.

Annual policies can be bought up to 60 days in advance of when you want your policy to start. It is important to note that cancellation cover will only be in force from the start date as shown on the policy schedule.

If you are buying Tesco Travel Insurance in store, this can be done up to 6 months in advance of your trip.
