Question:
Can I still apply if my pet's vaccinations aren't up to date?
Answer:
Yes, although your insurance will exclude the cost of treatment for conditions that would have been prevented by such vaccinations:
- Unvacinated dogs are not covered for distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis or parvovirus.
- Unvacinated cats are not covered for feline infectious enteritis, feline leukaemia or cat flu.
- What vaccinations do vets normally recommend?
- Can I still apply if my pet has an existing condition or has been treated for anything other than routine vaccinations or neutering?
- When I apply, can I pay for my policy using Clubcard points?
- What should I do if my pet is referred to a specialist?
- I'm looking for pet insurance quotes for my dog club, and wondered if you have a policy to cover clubs?
