What happens after I make a claim on my home insurance?
Answer:
You will be advised whether your claim is covered by your policy and any excess amount that will apply. You will not usually have to complete a claim form.
There are a number of approved suppliers/specialists who may be appointed to deal with your claim and your claim may be settled by repair or replacement of items, as outlined in your policy.
You may be asked to provide additional information to support your claim, if so you will be advised what will happen next.
