This depends when you bought your home insurance policy. To find out who currently provides your home insurance please check your policy number on your Policy Schedule.
If you dont have home insurance yet or your policy number starts ‘TI’ e.g. TI123456 it is underwritten by Tesco Underwriting Ltd - Standard and Finest policies cover accidental damage to TV and video equipment. For Value policies this cover is only available if the accidental damage option is selected.
If your policy number starts with an 8 or 7 e.g. 8888888 it is underwritten by UK Insurance Limited - Standard and Finest policies cover accidental damage to TV and video equipment but there is no cover on Value policies.
