What Legal Protection cover is available for new customers/policies that are underwritten by Tesco Underwriting Limited?
Answer:
Tesco Legal Guard is provided by Ageas Insurance Limited and is included in all Finest Home Insurance policies. It can also be added onto Value and Standard policies for an additional premium. If you already have Tesco Home Insurance please check your Policy Schedule to see if you are covered.
Tesco Legal Guard provides you and your family with up to £100,000 of cover for legal expenses associated with personal injury claims, contract disputes, property disputes, employment disputes, tax protection, inheritance, legal defence as an employee and motoring prosecution. It also covers your salary while you attend jury service. Cover is provided where someone else is to blame and you are likely to be able to recover your losses from the person who is to blame. You can add Tesco Legal Guard when you next renew if you do not already have this cover.
