Can I contact you by email?
Answer:
Yes you can contact us by email but a word of warning. Emails sent via the internet are not secure and you should be aware that there is a possibility that the email may be intercepted. You should think carefully before emailing us with sensitive information about your health. If you email us we will take this as your consent to respond to you by email.
You may wish to consider whether you want us to do this if other people have access to your email account. You should never send bank, credit card or other financial details by email. Where we are confident that we know that it is you that has contacted us we may respond to you by email, but we take the security of your information, particularly your health information, very seriously and in some circumstances, for example where we cannot be sure that the request is from you, or you request us to change policy details we will contact you by telephone or post to confirm that the request is genuine.
