What is a case number?

AXA PPP healthcare give you a case number after you have contacted them to pre authorise a claim. This number is used by them, the hospital and the specialist as a reference number for the particular condition. Your hospital or specialist may ask you for this number.

• Where is my nearest hospital or scanning centre?
• Can I go into any hospital I want?
• Will the policy pay for a parent to stay in hospital whilst their child is having eligible treatment?
• Will the hospital and specialist fees be paid in full?
• What information is needed in an extended stay report?
