Question:

What’s the difference between Tesco Value and Tesco Car insurance?

Answer:

Both Tesco Value and Tesco Car Insurance policies provide comprehensive cover.  Tesco Car Insurance also gives you the option to take third party fire and theft, or third party only cover instead however third party only cover must be purchased over the phone.

Tesco Value Car Insurance offers basic affordable cover with a higher compulsory excess and is available to purchase online only.  In addition there is some cover that is not available on Tesco Value Car Insurance such as

- No cover for glass in the car (e.g. windscreens)

- No audio/entertainment cover

- No personal belongings cover
