What happens if I have a car accident and it was my fault?

Answer:

All accidents should be reported to us immediately on 0845 300 4400. You should also contact the police if anyone had been injured in the accident.

If you have comprehensive cover, our first priority is to get your car repaired and roadworthy or reach a settlement if its a total loss. We'll also handle the other driver's claim as quickly as we can. Your claims advisor will be able to give you an indication of how long it's likely to take us to get all the information to settle your claim.
