What legal protection is available for customers who purchase their policy after October 16 2010 or renew after November 12 2010?
Answer:
Tesco Legal Guard is optional cover underwritten by Ageas Insurance Limited, formerly known as Fortis Insurance Limited. It provides up to £100,000 of cover for legal expenses if you or your passengers need to pursue a legal claim in the event of a personal injury and/or loss (where someone else is to blame and you are likely to be able to recover your losses from the person who is to blame). If you already have Tesco Car Insurance please check your Policy Schedule to see if you have this cover. If not you can add Tesco Legal Guard at your next renewal.
