Can I request a balance transfer online?

Answer:

Yes, you will be given the opportunity to transfer a balance at our special introductory rates during your online application for a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card.

If you are an existing cardholder, you can still request to transfer a balance at anytime. You can do so online as part of our FREE Online Servicing.

Balance transfers are subject to a fee and our prior approval.

Upon account approval, any balances that you have requested to be transferred will be sent to the other card issuers.

The amount of balances we can process will depend on the credit limit allocated. You can transfer up to 95% of your available credit limit.

It may take between 2 and 3 weeks to process your application. Until then you may need to make a payment to your other card accounts to keep them current. Please note, that balance transfers may not be possible for some store cards and between 2 Tesco Credit Cards.
